The building features an A2 fire-rated rainscreen cladding system, supplied by Genius Facades, designed to meet rigorous safety standards while delivering a bold architectural statement. Complementing the façade, Quantum Facades installs a Fatra single-ply roofing system, selected for its proven durability, weather resistance, and thermal efficiency. Together, these systems form a robust envelope that supports the building’s long-term performance and visual impact.

Our Approach And Solution
To meet the demands of the Heaps Mill development, Quantum Facades adopts a solution-focused approach that blends technical precision with architectural ambition. Working closely with Legacie Contracts and the design team, we engineer a façade system built around Genius Flat Panels, providing a clean, contemporary finish with certified A2 fire performance. Behind the panels, 150mm Rockwool Duo Slab insulation ensures thermal efficiency and fire resistance, while the Plastestrip Fastframe bracket and rail system delivers structural reliability and installation flexibility.
For the roofing works, Quantum installs the Fatra single-ply membrane system, chosen for its resilience, ease of maintenance, and proven performance in urban environments. Every component is carefully fabricated and installed to meet exacting standards, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, sequencing, and quality control throughout the build.
